Place the hot dogs in boiling water and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from water and set aside. Meanwhile, heat the hot dog buns in a 180°C oven (gas mark 4) for 8 minutes or until lightly toasted. In a small bowl, mash the avocados and season with salt and pepper to taste. Place the cooked hot dogs in the buns, top with mashed avocado, and serve.
