For good reason: Avocados are a magical ingredient for meals and snacks alike. Fresh and creamy with a slightly nutty flavor, they are the perfect addition to salads, sandwiches, sushi, and plenty of main dishes.

To celebrate the amazing taste and versatility of the avocado, the World Avocado Organization (WAO) has gathered cooking expertise from around the world to create an e-cookbook dedicated exclusively to avocados to be published in the UK, France and Germany: “The Wonderful World of Cooking with Avocados”.

More than 35 brilliant and delicious recipes – ranging from appetisers, sandwiches, wraps and salads to main courses and desserts – help to discover new ways to love the taste of the superfruit. Renowned chefs from around the world have contributed to this one-of-a-kind e-cookbook with their expertise and knowledge on how to create the most delicious tuna salad avocado toast or savor friends with a mouth-watering ceviche salad with an exquisite leche-de-tigre dressing. In addition to the beautifully illustrated recipes, the e-cookbook provides readers with useful tips and tricks how to store, peel and cut avocados.

Avocado – the superfood to pimp up any meal

Thanks to producers around the world, avocados can be enjoyed all year long which is why “The Wonderful World of Cooking with Avocado” includes recipes for every season. Lime-infused prawns or smoked salmon-topped crunchy salads are a fresh boost of energy during hot summer days, while a delicious cream of avocado and artichoke soup or a creamed chicken with avocado-rice salad warms the soul on a cold winter day.

Not only is this superfruit delicious and easy to prepare, avocados also have an abundance of health benefits thanks to their nutritional value.
